MY BIOGRAPHY
Hello, my name is Till Steinforth, and I was born and raised in Magdeburg, Germany. I lived in Germany until I was nineteen. In 2021, after I finished high school at a gymnasium that was only for athletes, I transferred to the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in the United States. At this point, I had already been doing Track & Field for over ten years. In those years in Germany, I greatly succeeded in the youth age groups, winning multiple german championships and placing high in two European Championships.
After high school, I knew I wanted to study architecture, as it always intrigued me. I grew up playing with Legos and learning to draw from my grandfather. These activities inspired my creative side early on. Throughout my childhood, I kept improving in creative skills, eventually leading me to try out Rhinoceros 3D and Grasshopper in 10th grade. Since then, I have started informing myself about architecture more and more while also becoming more aware of my built environment.
So, I knew architecture was the way to go for me, but I also knew I wanted to keep improving in Track & Field. Combining both parts would have been impossible in Germany, so I decided to study in the USA. Here, academics and sports can go hand in hand with sports scholarships and professors' understanding of long practice hours and competitions.
Right now, I have Track & Field training for around 25 hours per week while completing my architecture degree with a 4.00 GPA so far. On the weekend, I mostly travel around the USA to compete for my University. In my rare free time, I love to travel the world while taking pictures with my FUJIFILM camera.
